Supervisory Responsibilities:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  IT certification preferred.
Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability:  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Provides user support and customer service in a professional manner.
Responds to questions from callers and walk-ins; assists staff with technology problems (phone, terminal and computer) in offices.  Assists in person with resident phone problems and issues.
Maintains knowledge of fundamental operations of commonly used software, hardware and other equipment.
Follow standard Help Desk operation procedures, including accurate logging of all phone and computer issues.
Accepts general responsibility for the network computers, printers and terminals and ensure that they work properly.  Stocks paper and toner in printers.
Enforces all IT policies and manages the circulation of manuals or other materials as appropriate.
Maintains familiarity with available help resources and stays updated on technology changes or problems.
Ensures that the VP of IT is informed of all unresolved issues.
Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
